  • solenoid 2 not opening with test

i was worried that i might have messed up the second solenoid (the one closer the intake). this is the solenoid that is controled by the fpss. in order to test this one i though it would just complete the ground circuit over the fpss by a screw driver over the connections on the fpss. with the system on (bottle empty of course) and the full throttle switch depressed i contacted both points on the fpss. i heard the solenoid click a few times then it stopped. i figured i just blew the fuse, but then the other solenoid was still clicking. so what did i break? did i kill the solenoid itself? how could i have even shorted anything if the whole system is on a fuse? does anyone have any ideas? how could i test for anything at this point?

have i mentoined i hate anything with wires!

nevermind, nothing was shorted. i opened up the solenoid and the spring had somehow got knocked out of place. works fine now.
