What do you guys think??
I always wanted to go FI but nitrous is a good and cheaper alternative.. I just need some help getting my car in tip top shape for the 75 wet shot..
I have hp tuners and Bosch Platinum 4s.. Should I get new plugs? Should I get MSD and wires?

yup, you need new plugs. Go with the NGK TR6s. They are the most popular and work really well. MSD is not necc. for nitrous. with a 75 shot, you really don't need to upgrade anything other than exhaust. Once you go for around a 100 shot then fuel pump and some other things are good to do.

walbro intank fuel pump or an inline pump for when you run nitrous is pretty much needed with a 100 shot.

first start out slow and work your way up to the 100. Make sure your car is working correctly and is handling the nitrous first.

Also a low temp thermo would be a plus if you don't have one along with some intake work like a whisper lid, ram air, etc.

I looked on your site but didn't see any mod list so not sure what you have already.

you will without a doubt want a set of LCAs and probably a torque arm..you'll want to look into a poly tranny mount too..its only $20 for the ES one..i went through 3 stock rubber mounts before finally switching to it and have been all good ever since..also..if it were me and i were running a wet kit..id look into a window switch..and yes..NGK TR6 plugs gapped at .035

ok.. my plans are a window switch believe it or not.. I just need to see which rpms to shoot it at.. I have all the possible intake work done.. the thermo is something ive been wanting to do for a long time..
I have hptuners if anyone has any tips or tricks for tuning and I have a 100% stock suspension so I may look into those thinks.. I want to find some cheap slicks.
Plugs are in the plan too.
Do I need a special driveshaft?

i would start the window from 3500 to 5900..then lower it to 3000 as you get more used to nitrous..in HP Tuners..one of the things that i did was lower my power enrich air/fuel ratio by about .5 - .75 when i was spraying..by doing this you are asking for more fuel..so you're definitely going to want that pump..you dont "need" a special driveshaft..the one piece aluminum ones are supposed to be stronger..and being lighter they offer a little better performance..either way a drive shaft loop is not a bad idea

and on my zex kit i have the white wire (Goes to TPS) and the red and black wire..
If I use a window switch I would wire that after the TPS and before the Nitrous Management Unit right?
I want it to spray between certain rpms only when its floored.. THANKS

im not really sure about the wiring foe zex kits..i've never really got a good look at their units..a window from 3000 - 6000 will work..you really want to be more concerned about the lower number..the sooner you inject..the more chance there is for a backfire..on a wet kit i wouldnt inject any sooner than 3000 rpms

I bought the NX RPM Activated Window Switch, its sitting in front of me.. does anyone know what the extra blue and red wires are for, they dont show up on the diagram and they look like theyre not used..

Another question.. someone told me that it was bad for the TB to spray wet before the TB.. Is this true?? I was planning to spray it right before the TB like kristen..

not sure what the wires are for..i have a dry kit so i dont bother with one..you might want to call NX tech..as for the TB ..its not bad for the TB..its bad for the MAF..the wires in your MAF are extremely small and sensitive..they are like the little wires in a light bulb..imagine spraying wet fuel through them..not good..there are some that do it..but i certainly wouldnt with my car..and i do a lot of f*cked up sh*t to my car lol

deff need a window switch andi would have it turn off at 5500 rpms tops.

and make sure to move up the nitrous lader. start with a 50 shot for a month or 2, then the same for the 75 shot, and then the 100 shot if you go there. if you try too much for starters that is how big things break

make sure to get gauges too, you really have to watch you air/fuel too. don't want to run rich or lean and mess up your engine.

I suggest a harlan window swtich btw... seems the easiest to install and set up in our cars.

I already have the nx window switch sitting on my table... its a 3k to 6k spray... where do I get the new crystals to set it to 5500? will 6k be that bad? Also an AF guage would not really help much would it? I heard that unless you have a wideband o2 youre readings never come out right.
