  • Type of oil while using nitrous??

Im going to get an oil change here soon, Is there any type of oil I should be using while using nitrous or is the usuall just fine as long as I dont let it get to old or go through too many miles??
Why hop up a V6, cuz $724 a month for insurance is a little steep.

the usual is fine..but if using nitrous you may want to change it every 2000 or so instead of every 3000

this is the oil i use. i change my own oil.

if you go from normal oil to Synthetic oil, your might find leaks. since Synthetic oil is thiner, it will clean out everything in there and then the oil will just leak, my rear main seal when

What would putting oil in the motor have to do with the pinion seal on the rear end leaking? Do you have any automotive knowledge?

I use Mobil 1 10W30 Synthetic since about 10k miles and have never had any issues. The oil doesn't come out all black like standard either, it's more like syrup and comes out thin not all sludgy. I change mine every 3k miles religiously, but once I start spraying I'll change it more often, probably every 2k miles like someone else suggested. Oh, and I use K&N oil filter's too! From all outward appearances it seems far superior to any other, plus it's longer than the stock one.

                Here's a secret...

You can get a Mobil 1 oil change at Walmart for just about $30. That's cheaper than most of us can buy the oil and filter for!

...and the Mobile 1 extended life oil change is just ~$35.

I've never put anything but Mobil 1 in my engine. Think of it as cheap insurance.

The diff will hold up to WAY more than a V6 can ever throw at it. The 10 bolt in my LS1 hasn't leaked a drop after hammering it with 10 second passes via my 3800 Vigilante and 225 shot.
