there should be a 90* swivel fitting..that hooks up to the fuel pressure safety switch..im not exactly sure which tubing you're talking about..if you check out the install instructions and give the part number i could tell you exactly what its for

..by the way..do not use the jet chip with nitrous

Stage 2 Jet Chip is in your sig.... you have removed this yes?

tubing that has a 90 degree bend in it that has the red nut at the end of it used for: are you talking about the blow down tube? Dunno.... get a pic

also how is the fuel pressure safty switch hooked up: there is a threaded portion on it... while a friend is in the car quickly turning the ignition on (to pressurise the fuel lines) and pressing your nitrous buton listen for the soleniod opening.... adjust the screw until you stop hereing it open

do i use braided line from the pressure relief on the fuel rail to the bottem of that?:I had a 90 degree hard metal line and had a t fitting to the wet kit solenoid and FPSS

I am in the process of installing my 05175 kit tonight too, i think that part goes off the schrader valve and into the fpss (if you read the bottom of pg14 in the instructions it says "Note: ...05175 includes an extenstion tube for the fuel rail test port.")

You also need to take out the fitting inside the schrader valve before doing this.

Someone please correct me if I'm way off...

You're right that's your FPSS, and that's how it needs to be installed.

Well this is how I thought it worked, but trying to put the pieces together just is not working. i can't for the life of me figure how to hook the fpss to the schrader valve with the parts they gave me.

You must remove the shrader valve from the fuel rail.

Bird is outside.... I don't remember having difficulty hooking up the FPSS line to the fuel rail.... I gotta look at my bird and see if I did anything different though

Just wondering, why does the chip have to be removed?

It advances timing, which is a bad mixture with nitrous.

correct..you do not want to advance timing with nitrous..a rule of thumb is that you actually retard the timing 1* for every 50 addition horses of nitrous for the street..for the track..it would be 1* for every 50 addition horses -1*..but for an 85 - 100 shot i would say it is ok to run stock timing as long as high octane fuel (92+) is used
