I am thinking about purchasing a dry nitrous system for my 98 pontiac firebird but before I purchase one I would like to ask a question to someone else with a 98 firebird 3.8L that has a nitrous system.
What system did you use? On LMP Performance they say the 3.8L nitrous system will only fit 99+, I know there are differences from the 98 motor to the 99 and up motor. I am worried about buying the wrong system.
wrong forum there buddy, try the nitrous forum right below this one
and i would say you would probably fine. i think they are saying the tps switch will only work on cars that are drive by wire... 99+ i believe have this feature.
im not 100% positive that the throttle by wire started in 99, might have been 2000.
you will just need a full throttle switch instead of what they supply. you could also use a button in the cab to activate the system.
