    A larger volume bottle will be less affected by a pressure drop.

    From a science standpoint:
    With nitrous, to bottle (volume) remains constant, the temp stays fairly close.
    PV=NRT
    NR is kind of like the amount of gas present.
    When you use nitrous, NR goes down, so to make PV = NRT, either P or V need to go down also, again, volume is fixed, so the pressure has to go down.

    Its easy to deduce that a large V (bottle), the less the pressure would change to accomodate a drop in density.

    Yes, it would take slightly longer to heat 15 lbs of nitrous than it would 10 lbs.
    When they fill it, there would be additional time because they have to put in 5 more lbs. None of this matters on the track though.

          okay, so after that was discussed, what does everybody recommend, a 10lb bottle or a 15lb bottle?

              i don't plan on using it very often, only once in a while off a red light if i am in a close race.

                Then the cheaper, 10lb bottle would be fine for you.
                Unless you have the extra cash, then you might as well upgrade.

                  Yeah, I was looking at the two kits, for a 15 lb bottle the kit is only like 30-40 bucks more.

                    Stick w/ the 10 lb bottle.

                    PSI loss can be to heat, amount in bottle etc. Comparing a 10 vs 15 lb..... 15 would experience less psi loss vs 10 lb due to amount.

                    As for tank's rupturing... there is a psi disc that is designed to burst at a certain psi..... if it does not then it will burst.
