alright guys, ive been thinking of hooking the juice up on my newly bought 01 camaro. i have ran no2 on my 99 grand prix gt (the same 3.8 engine) but had trouble with the tranny. now that i have a manual im thinking about going back with it. i like the simplicity of the zex kit would would also be intersted in the NOS brand if their is anything to gain from running it. i know the basic mods you would need like cold air intake, 180* stat, and a couple degree colder plugs, but is their anything else i would have to have. im looking at running a 50-75 dry shot, nothing to heavy. i have also thought of just a push button activated one. the reason for this is im extreamly happy with my cars power in first and second gear, but would love the extra power for 3 and 4 gear races that go the extra bit. i konw were supposed to be 15 second cars outta the box, so what should i expect after that with the basic mods, and the n02? well any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, forrest

I recommend doing a search, it has been discussed alot, you will also find that there are alot of people on the board that really don't like to use the zex kit for various reasons. NOS dry kits (specifically 5175) is highly recommended for safety, power, and reliability, ie: no puddling, comes with WOT switch, FPSS, and reasonable shot size. Do intake, free flowing exhaust mods, like catback/headers/high flow cat, and use colder plugs.
Do a search and you will find all the info you require. ;)1997 Firebird, A4,WS6 Ram air hood, edelbrock catback, SLP CAI, 85 dry shot
1981 Firebird Trans Am

http://members.cardomain.com/dreaded_hope

NO2 is a resultant of combustion of fossil fuels (oxide of nitrogen).
N20 is nitrous oxide.
