• Sprayed for the first time!

I sprayed for my first time lastnight. It was only a 75 dry shot. The guy who helped me owns this buisness called 860 performance. He sold me this bracket for mounting the bottle. Its beautiful. Pics soon.

He doesnt recommend spraying a wet shot through my MAF. He says that i should tap the TB because spraying fuel through the TB will cause the car to run too rich. Is this true? I know Kristen is running a 100 wet shot through her TB. But does she run too rich? Also he said once I do the wet shot Ive got to take some little thing out of the schraeder valve. Can anyone elaborate on this?

Anyway my car does 0-60 in less than five seconds now. Once it sprays at 3k the tires break loose. The feeling is better than drugs.

I use a wet shot on my car. You drill into the TB just after the MAF so that you are not spraying onto the maf sensor.

yeah for the wet shot you go off that vavle for a fuel supply....

to get the thing out you have to get the one that removes the vavle.... they have them at auto zone and places

those are pics of the setup like it is today. I love my new 860 performance bottle mounting plate. It makes the setup look clean and its stable with no rattling of the bottle. This was an important goal I had for the system.

Just its time to go.. What happend was It was last November, about 40 degrees and I didnt warm up the car to 160.. I basically started up the car left my apartment and right when I got on the road a C5 vette rolled up to me and wanted to play.. We hit from a 30mph roll and we side by side.. I let off at 90mph and thats when the knocking started.. So I probably broke my motor by not letting the oil get everywere and warm up.. But I didnt really care.. I had my built motor ready to drop in.. This just gave me a good reason to pull the bad motor and put the good one in..

There are these rules to follow and your motor will last along time with the nitrous..

1. Never spray below 3000 rpms
2. dont miss a gear when spraying
3. let your car warm up before you spray it
4. dont spray above 1200psi.
5. give your car a rest after you spray it.. I never sprayed my car more then 2 races through 2nd-4th gear without turning it off and letting it sit to cool down..
6. change your plugs and fuel filter every 3 months with your oil..

You do these things and you wont have any problems.. I had no fuel safty switches, no Window switch.. Mine was WOT switch and if I hit the rev limiter It would still spray.. I missed gears alot and in turn had alot of backfires.. But my motor was a beast and it held up fine..
Jeff ..

i personally would drill and tap the TB ..but thats just my .02 ..im glad to hear that the dry shot was good..id really like to see how this particular wet kit does since i am somewhat interested in it

the schrader valve is just a valve on the fuel rail..its on the passenger side..you need to remove it so that you can screw a 4 AN fuel line on to run to the ZEX control box in order to run a wet shot

BTW..welcome to the wonders of nitrous

I bought one of 860's heated bottle brackets. Have yet to use it but it looks way way nicer than the conventional heaters.

BTW, you think 75hp is cool, try 150!
