If you bought kit nos-05175 there is NO fuel line. There is simply a nitrous line that runs off of the bottle and into the engine bay. Then there is a fpss that comes off of the schrader valve.

Here is a picture of that:
        FPSS

The connector seen there did not come with the kit, because the kit is designed for the 3.4L, I had to buy that separate off of JEGS.

As for the Nitrous line running off the bottle, many people say that you should run it outside of the car. If you put the bottle in the backseat area, you would want to pull up the carpet and look for a rubber grommet somewhere to put the line through, then run it under the car and into the engine bay.

I did it differently though, I have the bottle in the spare tire compartment, and I ran the line in the car, under the carpet, through the firewall and into the engine bay.

I just took some pictures of my setup, and I'm in the process of getting them hosted online, hopefully they can help you out.

pumm3l, when are you aviable this week? I am aviable mostly during the days. I would be willing to skip a day of class though to come down during the night. Send me the adress where we can meet at mgoetter@hotmail.com so I can get directions off of mapquest.com.

chet, I will bring the digital camera along and take pictures, hopefully we will be able to get a step-by-step installation with pictures included for anybody who wants to do it in the future.

xcd, I will probablly run it through the firewall it seems like the easiest way to run the line. Thanks for the pics.

wait did you get a dry or wet kit?

and are you not available at all on weekends? I don't get home from work until about 5:30-6pm so trying to do this in the dark is gonna make it difficult. I might be able to borrow my brothers garage (it's a 2 car garage) and do it in there if we need to.

Matt, here's a quote from an old thread that I had to use when I hooked up my kit, it explains pretty well what to do with the hose that needs hooked up to the map sensor.

your MAP sensor is on the passenger side of the manifold (its a small black sensor held on with torx bit screws towards the back end passenger side of the manifold)..and the FPR is on the driver's side of the fuel rail..theres a vacuum hose that runs from the MAP sensor to the FPR..you want to tee into that vacuum line..one end of the tee goes to the big blue nitrous pressure regulator, one end goes to the FPR, and the 42 jetted end of the bypass tee goes towards the MAP sensor..if you have the new style tee that does not include a 42 jet and is just stamped 42..make sure that stamped end goes towards the MAP sensor

I work on weekends from 8-4.. so i wouldn't be able to get down to philly until around 5-5:30 PM on a weekend.

I don't want to be an inconvience to you.. if you can't get your brothers garage let me know and I will goto CCI Racing on Tuesday morning and let them install it.

If you can get your brothers garage for a night I could skip school one night and come down.

You have your nitrous line running through the inside of your car, not a good idea in my opinion. I dunno if the track inspector will like it either, depends on how anal they are I guess. I have my bottle mounted between the seats and have the nirtous line running out of the car underneath the back seat through the grommet and tied up under the car. It runs up into the engine bay that way.

Just got home from Philly.. thanks shaun and kristen for all your help during this install. I couldn't have done it w/ out you two!!!

I sprayed for the first time tonight..... WOW. Heres a video I took spraying at the top of first all the way through second and through third.. my car grew some balls.. this stuff is amazing.

                              http://media.putfile.com/NOS25

I will be getting a better video tomorrow during the day. Its hard to see the speedo and rpm with the lights on.. but you can hear the motor going nuts.

                              Thanks again kristen and shaun!!!!!

P.S. I am working on the walkthrough right now... will be up soon
