We're on the part of the directions where it tells you to connectect the T fitting to the fuel pressure regulator and a vacuum line, after doing some searching I found a post where james says he tapped into the vacuum line where the 3 different hoses are near the firewall labled "fuel". this is on a 98 3.8 are we supposed to remove the green T fitting on that vacuum line and replace it with the brass one supplied with the kit then run a line from the T fitting to the blue nitrous regulator?

your MAP sensor is on the passenger side of the manifold (its a small black sensor held on with torx bit screws towards the back end passenger side of the manifold)..and the FPR is on the driver's side of the fuel rail..theres a vacuum hose that runs from the MAP sensor to the FPR..you want to tee into that vacuum line..one end of the tee goes to the big blue nitrous pressure regulator, one end goes to the FPR, and the 42 jetted end of the bypass tee goes towards the MAP sensor..if you have the new style tee that does not include a 42 jet and is just stamped 42..make sure that stamped end goes towards the MAP sensorOld Car = 12.679 @ 106.5 on 150 dry shot.

okay I found the MAP sensor and FPR regulator, I assume we pull the plastic line off of the FPR and the MAP sensor and use the supplied tubing to attach the T so we can connect it to the nitrous regulatr?
btw do you have aim so I can talk over that if your avaible?

xcdarrel17 is my aim screen name. So one end of the tee goes to the blue nitrous regulator, one end goes to the fpr using the tube that comes with the kit. Then the 42 jet goes to the map sensor using the stiff hose that was already on the car.Old Car = 12.679 @ 106.5 on 150 dry shot.

ok perfect, makes much more sense now that I know where the FPR & MAP sensor is and that I'm to use the existing vaccuum line that goes on the 42 jetted T side.
I never hooked up a dry kit before so the using vacuum to increase fuel pressure thing was a bit confusing.
Thanks for you help, we're taking a bunch of pictures of the install and i'll make sure to pay extra attention to the vacuum line portion of the install since it doesn't seem too many people have nice clear pictures.

we should be done tonight. shaun got all the solenoids and the spray nozzle together.. i just mounted the solenoids and the nut to mount the spray nozzle into the intake.. all we have left is the electrical part and the T fitting.
