  • problems first time out with nitrous

ok so i finally got my harris speed works kit that i modified to a push button set up, on last night. i had the 50 shot jet in and take off to test it out. could only get the bottle up to about 750 lbs of pressure but went on anyways. first pull is from second geari purge the line, take off and i hit the nitrous at about 3200 rpm. the car bogs, regains power, and bogs again. i left off the button so not to hurt anything. i figured i would give it one more try and this time do it from 3rd and wait till around 4k rpm, and it works just fine, pulls hard all the way. i do a couple other runs and narrow it down to where it would only do it from around 3k rpm up to just before 4k. what could the problem be? just to let ya know i have, a tsp rumbler cat back, whisper lide with k&n and free ram air mod, new ngk tr6's put in last night, and a 180* stat. thanks in advance for the help, forrest.

Change your fuel filter. Do you have a FPSS? If so, it could be cutting on and off also. You might need a fuel pump.

Cutting corners with the spray will make you pay... Just buy a bottle warmer, they're all pretty similiar.

I bought a used bottle warmer off ebay, just a warmer for about 30 bucks. Then went out and bought some wires, a relay, some fuses, etc, and did all of my own wiring. Cost me about $50 total doing it that way.
