Yeah, shot size, safety features on the kit, etc.
Might be a head gasket. Might be worse.

well we got it fixed and running.. we ran head gasket sealent through the system added antifreeze bled the lines and it runs strong again. I don't know how well the sealent will hold up for long term but it is fixed for now.

I am looking into selling it to buy a 93-97 LT1. I am selling my kit I found my camera so pics of it will be up tonight under the for sale section.

With fuel injection cars, they run dexcool through the intake manifold. The manifold gasket is made out of plastic with rubber orings set in them to seal the coolant passages. It might have been something like a blown intake gasket, seen it before. With cars that run Dexcool, it won't wreck the motor like old school green antifreeze, 'cuz that stuff is made out of glycol. Check the intake gasket, if you had the time & tools you could do it yourself.

:edit: I wouldn't give up too quick. If it was always trouble free, everybody would do it.

I am going to look at an 97 eagle talon TSI AWD and a 97 mustang GT tomorrow . I am going to be trading in the bird very soon.

good one.
shoot it, break it, slap a temp fix on it and sell it.

class act.

I have a brand new 300 shot wet kit you can have for $50 for your talon or GT when you get it. I would recommend the 97 GT,though. Man, those are real nice cars. i gotta get me one of those. very powerful, i don't mind that 70% of the mustang market is girls. And the front end on those stangs...wow...talk about pimping. You don't get much better cosmetics than slapping a Taurus front end on a stang. saves a tone of money in production costs. Dude, really, now that I think about it I will give you the 300 shot wet kit for free if you get a 97 GT.
