  • window switch, Bottle heater question.

ok i bought the Zex dry smart kit. Should i still get the window switch and a bottle heater? some people say you dont need a bottle heater for dry kits and others say you do. Im just basically looking for the safest way to run my nitrous kit. Any information will help. I wanna get everything i need before i install the kit.

i would never run any nitrous with out a window switch. it's just an idiot thing to do. as for a bottle heater i'm not to sure with a dry kit. but that doesn't really have anything to do with safty. that is just to get the psi up so your nitrous hits harder

some run without a window switch..especially with a dry kit where there is less chance of a backfire ;) ..but thats at the user's own risk..as far as a bottle heater goes..i would definitely get one..although the zex smart dry kit adds fuel according to bottle pressure..you still want to run with your pressure at 950 - 1000 psi to get the expected shot size that you jet it for

Plus it's a lot more fun when the pressure is up...

activates nitrous when RPMs are above or below a certain point.

                        I'm an idiot then? :twak: :p j/k

Bottle heater is a must.... w/o it you will not maximize your nitrous system.

Window switches are a good idea but not needed for auto's. Activates at 3,000 rpm's and shuts off at 5,800 rpm's would be ideal for our v6's
