ok im really new to nitrous but grasp the general concept. im looking to get a bit of horsepower without having to upgrade much on my car. i was hoping that for a tiny 50 shot i wouldnt have to upgrade much on my car. alot has been replaced on my car..plugs,wires,coils,ignition,fuel pump etc...... what would i have to upgrade on my car if i were to buy a dry 50 shot? 3800 II 2001 a4 camaro
also could i get some insight on everything i would need + and estimate on cost?? thnx

cost will vary greatly based on how many safety features you go with and whether you go used, new, etc...
350 for a quality used kit can be done with basic safety features.
you're also going to want to make sure you have the right plugs (tr6 at .35 are the most common for n20) and youre going to need to run a higher octane.
for kit suggestions check out other people's setups, mine's on my cardomain.
ya i know. i wouldnt try ANYTHING until i knew what i was doing. but is there anything else performance wise?? i have exhuast would it best best to also get intake?

ya know.........i have a used kit for $400 in the for sale section......and its jetted for around a 65 shot. its a wet kit, so its safer. It also comes with quick realese bottle brackets, and a bottle warmer. the kit has a 10lb bottle. And the silenoids have a lifetime warrenty. its a NX kit also. i'll have pics of the whole thing shortly. i'm jus trying to see if anyone is interested in buying it.......jus to let you know. lol:D
your wet kit is not necc. safer, most people would argue against that actually. It really depends on the safety measures you take, the install, and how your car likes the fuel/nitrous in the intake.
Nitrous takes a lot of research before adding to a car. It is something that can screw up your car if you are not sure what you are doing with it.
I thought dry kits are safer cuz they dont "pool" and cause detonation?
True, but you also have to worry about running lean with a dry and hoping that your pcm adjusts for the nitrous going in. They both have advantages and disadvantages. That is why one must research nitrous quite a bit and decide which one they want on their car.
:D arent you relying on your own fuel system for the spray and not for a wet kit? its jetted for more rich also, and its a small shot. so i think this kit is pretty safe. i was gonna put it on my car but its helping pay for the LS-1. just let me know if your interested and i'll try to get you some pics when i get my camera back.
wet kit you are relying on your intake not puddling and having a nice backfire. Also if your fuel solenoid doesn't open and you spray the nitrous into the engine only that can be trouble because the wet kit is tapped past the MAF so your PCM isn't going to add fuel.
