Is is easy to jet a 5175 for 125 shot or is there more to it? Its only advertised up to 100, but I was toying with the idea of adding another 25. Do I need anything else except the jet?
Im not asking about supporting mods, just what ever is need for the nitrous kit itself.
63 jet is what i used for my 120 shot and got 2 full seconds from it
Awesome. Now I am curious about supporting mods. Not about suspension, just motor support.
I have tr6 plugs, CAI, headers, 3" exhaust. I also have a 255lph Granatelli fuel pump and 36# injectors both are awaiting install and will dyno tune when they are installed.
Would it be okay with that or am I missing something?
The hard part would be changing out the bypass jet on the new kits. They aren't made as they used to be, the newer style tee fitting is a single piece with the 42 jet welded in place. I'm not sure how you would change that out.
Old Car = 12.679 @ 106.5 on 150 dry shot.
New Car = 2010 3.6l 304hp Camaro

Easy you just get a new bypass jet tee and swap the whole tee with the new tee.
At the time for fuel I needed:
stock pump
superchips custom tuned computer
afpr
stock injectors (19 lb)
kenne bell boost a pump at 50%
I you realllllly want to spray a 125 shot....... before you do it make sure your intire exhasut and intake are done. I would like to see a complete 3 inch system.
Why do you have 36 lb injectors? I still run 19's.
If you do this.... hit a dyno and wide band tune..... start with a 100 shot and work up from there
