are kits vehical specific ?

  • are kits vehical specific ?

    so i was just wondering how specfic each kit application is with dry kits? or are they all the same. cause i see a lot of different kits such as the zex which are advertised for acuras but not for camaros, just wondering what the difference is btw i have a 97 3800 5 speed. thanks alot for whatever help i can get

    they aren't vehicle specific, my NX wet kit came from a kid that had it on a Nissan Altima. Some kits might not have your jet sizes listed but they can be figured out

        there are some that are vehicle specific..usually direct port kits..but none used on our cars..the kits used on ours are just universal EFI dry or universal EFI wet

            hey kristen I think I saw your video and its tight with the mortal kombat music then when you get on the road and start driving was my eyes playing tricks on me or was that smoke coming from your tires if it was how much horsepower do you have with nitrous. That is great I bet those people on the street with you wouldn't even consider racing you when they see that

              Do NOT get ZEX, it is CRAP!

              Nitrous systems are interchangable..... with modifying the jets, and various fittings.... but why do it half assed? Buy the kit specifically for your car.

                so zex is crap ? why is that ? im new to this and still researching , i figured there is a reason why it is so cheap and no one has it , but yeah .whats so bad about it ?

                    I am just not a fan of the design and concept.

                    Also... I have not seen any impressive times from Zex kits on any cars.... granted there are fast cars out there with zex but it seems to me, not to be common
