ok my car is a 96 3.8 camaro auto going to put a catback and cold air into it looking into a 75 dry shot but have stock open diff. i no the car will spin badly but would i be able to compensate for the spin with a good set of tires i really dont care what it runs or how consistent it is would mostly race from rolls anyhow but any help would be greatly appreciated. i no what everyones thinking to so ill say it before everyone else...the power dont matter if it dont go to the ground. thank you . i read where the 5175 kit is recomended but im not looking to go above 75 dont want to have to upgrade all my fuel system. and would catback and cold air be enough supporting mods.

intake and exhaust will be fine..just remember some NGK TR6 plugs gapped at .035

spin will not be your only problem..you will most likely run into some wheel hop too..get a good pair of tires for the back and also a good set of boxed or tubular LCAs

an open differential isnt great from a performance aspect in general. you can run nitrous just fine with an open dif, but you probably wont be spraying from the line. you answered your own question for the most part. now, im not sure how great the stock open differential will stand up to the constant abuse of a 75 shot, but i would think it could handle it if you dont go too nuts with it.

what kit would you suggest it says the 5175 is for 100-150. what recomended tires? im gonna try my best to do it all in around 1200 if at all possible. could you see someone with the slp cold air magnaflow catback 7
5 dry shot some tube lcas and a decent rear tire into the 14's?

Don't expect your motor to last long if you want to spray 100-150. I think you need to start with the basics first before you even consider nitrous:

          Cold Air intake
          Exhaust
          Limited slip differential

              Re: nitrous question

You don't want to install a bigger/ better/ SAFER fuel pump and no LSD and you want to spray????

Maybe you should look at other mods instead of nitrous
