    Re: Converting Wet to Dry

DO NOT spray over the MAF with a wet kit..only spray over the MAF with a dry kit..i've sprayed SO much nitrous over my MAF (dry kit) that i actually went through one and had to get a new one last season..think what wet fuel will do to it..

also..the iridium plugs are pretty damn good

you should have a pretty decent setup..just make sure you have the right plugs, 92+ octane fuel, make sure you can supply the required increase in fuel, run safety parts such as wide open throttle switch, fuel pressure safety switch, window switch, bottle heater, etc

dry kits dont produce as much power but can still deliver some impressive numbers..both me and James (12secondv6) were able to run 12.8 on a dry kit..of course i wont get in to how much juice i personally had to run to get 12s hehe

      Re: Converting Wet to Dry

So back to my original question, if a dry kit is just spraying n2o into the intake I should be able to disconnect my fuel solenoid and shazam I have a dry kit now right??
Why hop up a V6, cuz $724 a month for insurance is a little steep.

thats how i run mine..which you can see here....

however this IS NOT the correct way..i only did this because of issues i was having running rediculously large shots..you really should be using two nitrous solenoids with a nitrous pressure regulator between them..which will look like this...

No, it needs a vaccum set up to raise the fuel psi

            Re: Converting Wet to Dry

I put the new plugs in and found out that the plugs I was running were the oem with 74000 miles on them and they were in bad shape. All the wires needed to be replaced to. Everything seems to be running great.

The shape that the plugs and wires were in I assumed they were oem, they were just terrible.
