just looking for some ideas about where to mount a switch panel, and how to do it. it seems like the ones online are all really expensive, so i might just make my own... is radioshack the best place for switches?
also, i need to figure out the best way to mount my bottle. im putting it in the back seat, seeing as i have no seats.

they sell a switch panel that goes into the little storage thing in front of the ash tray..i forget who..but youcan just search it..i put my switches just to the right of my ignition..its right near my right hand so it takes no time to hit the switch and my hand is off the steering wheel for a shorter period of time
as for the bottle mounting..when it comes to the back seat most people either make a carpeted board to mount it on where the bucket seat cussion is supposed to go..or they mount it in between the two seats where i have mine..you just basically make a carpeted wooden block to mount the front bottle bracket onto so you have the bottle at the correct angle

nitrous express has the switch panel. I made my own using a TCS switch panel I got off a car being parted out. Just drilled the holes into it and it works great.
I really like the set up you have 97rs4life. I am going to custom fab a switch panel on the headliner, centered between where ttops would be (I have a hard top) right behind the rear veiw mirror.
I am going to the junk yard to get a headliner center piece from an Oldsmobile Alero and use that to mount the swithches themselves. If for some reason that looks dumb or doesnt work, I am going to do the TCS switch that 97rs4life has.
yeah, the thing is that after spending so much on all the nitrous stuff, im not in the mood to spend 60+shipping for a few switches, when you can get the switches for a total of $15, and make your own.

Didnt your kit and accesories come with swithches? Mine did. But you are right buying them from radioshack is much cheaper.
That is something that happened to me too, I thought to myself "Nitrous is cheap horsepower!' But when I started getting greedy and wanted more accesories and safety stuff I ended up spending a little over $1000 I think at at least close to it.
i got my kit used... and the guy before me had an lt1, so the switch panel wouldnt have worked.
i saw the jimmy jams ones, it just looks weird with the weird colored buttons, i would rather have some subtle toggle switches or something.
despite what people say, nitrous =/= cheap horsepower. if you buy a kit, no safety accesories, and take the cheap route, maybe you will have some temporary improvements, but your car wont last.

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...
