  • nitrous gurus coming..

Ok after having my nitrous for alittle over a year now. I only used it for the first two months then put the bottle away. Only cuz I kept a cyclinder 6 missfire. Now I brought it out of the closet again and filled it. I have added since then 3:73, a tsp emc tune, msd dis 4, and headers. So I go hook it back up and go for a spin, and when I get it up to 90 my check engine pops up. I check it and it says random multiple missfires. Could it be that the plugs I have on it aint doing their job??( they are denso, iridium, ultra-fine 0.4mm plugs) or my stock wires?? Maybe even futher in like internal engine problems?

get those plugs out ASAP. You need some NGK TR6 plugs in your car to run nitrous. You are def. gonna have problems until you switch those plugs

your warmer didn't have a relay setup for it? It shouldn't be directly to your power source.

no problem on the guide, that's what its there for.

I would try rewiring the heater and see if it works. Did you have the wires going to the ground and a switch that was hooked up to a 12v source?

yup it was grounded and i was just messing with switch itself. And I did notic the lights dimmed for a sec when i connected the power to the accesorie. But before i just hooked it up straight to the battey and it got hot now nothing. Is it even fixable if i fried it?

There's a very good chance you burnt it up if it was hooked directly to the battery. I bought just a warmer off of ebay and wired it up through a relay and switch, so I can help you out with the wiring if you want to hook it up right, but like I said, there's a good chance you fried it.
