Re: tps switch install
i actually just did this yesterday, on my 97 3.8 camaro. its the wire located on the sensor directly opposite of the throttle on the pass. side. it is the middle wire which on my car is blue. the problem i found with it and i dont know if it was just my car or not. is.. what i assume are the "secondaries", wernt opening all the way to activate it the wot, so make sure its opening all the way, i must have spent an hour trying to figure out why that wire wasnt working.
btw, when i researched this everyone said that the wire was green , so i think that it may be different on newer models, however there are only three wires. so what i did was i took a tester light and poked each one and opened the throttle all the way untill i found the right one. hope that was helpful!Last edited by shrtyscrw13; 05-12-2006, 01:05 PM.

Re: tps switch install
the only thing I can think of is that the newer cars use a throttle by wire system, so the sensor harnesses may be different.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2230494
2001 V6 Camaro, M5, Sunset Orange
75-125 shot of nitrous
Powertrax Locker

by DongrossmdI’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...3 weeks ago
