anyone in mass put in there own kit? i want to do it my self but i would also like to still have a car after i flip the switch.
so some questions...
was it hard to do?
how long did it take you?
anything you would tell me to do to make it easier?
and anyone local want to help?:naughty:
difficulty depends on the kit
time is a couple hours depending on your electrical experience
Do some searches here in the nitrous section for more info
i found the hardest part was finding a place to run all the wires through. i couldnt find a single whole in the firewall and didnt wanna drill one. i found some grommets in the floor pan but didnt wanna have wire running under the car. other than that, straight forward and easy. u would deffently recommed that u sed the liquid teflon and not the tape, itll make ur life a lot easier.

Theres a grommet that goes through the firewall right under the PCM.
i installed my own kit too....if you have a stereo system run the wiring through the same hole....usually this hole is right under your PCM...theres a rubber gouramet that Chrono mentioned. What i did was i used a metal wire and tapped the tip of the electrical wiring to the tip of the small metal wire (rod) and poked it through. It will come out right under your dashboard on the far right and then you can route your wiring to wherever you want your switches.
Juiced Rally Red 98 A4<br /><br />Way too much to list....<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415</a>
I did my own as well. Mine was a edelbrock wet kit. I used the bot on top of the throttle body to hold my silonoids. Took me about 4 hrs to install everything. Its not hard just the part when it comes to drilling the hole for the spray nozzle on your throttlebody itself. I can try to take pics if you need help. just let me know.
Installed and removed my N.O.S. Dry kit. Install with help from friends.
Pretty straight forward took a few hours including trips to autozone as I bought a used kit and it needed a few misc. parts.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
