I had some questions on wiring this up. Can I splice into my tach wire from my shift light and use that signal for my rpms? Also what cylinder # to I set the box to? Which wire goes to the ground of the solenoid, the yellow or the gray( it says yellow supplies ground and gray removes ground)? Also which solenoid do I put it on, or does it matter? I also have a WOT switch and a fpss switch, will it mess those up if I hook it up on the same solenoid? Thats about all the questions, everything else is hooked up and ready to go. It is the 5175 dry kit. Thanks Steve

I feel your pain!! I read the directions for mine and I said the hell with it, I am taking it to an electronics installer. It looked really hard to install. I have the NOS switch. Good luck, take some notes and keep us updated cuz I would like to do it myself if possible on my car.

I have the same setup, NOS 05175 with a MSD Digital window. I wired it all up myself, but forget where everything goes now, I can look later and answer all your questions for sure.
I dont have a shift light, but I'm sure you can use the same wire. Both ground wires on the Soleniods will be spliced together and you ground them to the yellow wire I believe.

Like I said, I take a look after work, and make sure that's all correct and find the exact wire that I spliced into for the tach signal.

The switch will work great with the WOT switch and the FPSS, they all work together so that the nitrous only sprays when you want it to.

Any word on the wiring? I tried splicing into the one for the shift light but when it engages it cuts the engine off. I'm guessing it is too much of drain on that wire.

Re: wiring msd digital window switch

On my set up, I use the yellow wire on the MSD box, it is hooked up to one of the wires on the first solenoid. The white wire for the tach signal is hooked up to a brown/white wire. That wire is found in a loom with other wires (I think they're wrapped together with tape) right behind the coils. Just find the big bundle of wires and cut the tape away, the brown/white one was right on top for me, but it is a pain to work with back in there.

Any other questions about the wiring or anything with the kit, just let me know.

Re: wiring msd digital window switch

Got it working, but instead of trying to get behind the coils for the wire, I just took the brown/white wire from the cam sensor in front of the engine. I looked in the haynes manual and followed where the wire lead to. Now I'm waiting for my Fpss switch adapter for the fuel rail. I should be getting it today sometime, then I'll take it out for a spin. Thanks again. Steve
