  • Blown Fuse

I finished the nitrous install yesterday but I kept blowing the fuse right above where the wire is going into the fuse box from the arming switch. I had a quick look at the wires and there are a couple of grounds that look sketchy. Could a ground wire blow a fuse? So I disconnected that wire and the wire to the battery and went for a cruise. This morning my garage stinks of fuel. I checked the FPSS and the fitting is tight so I don't know what the problem is. Thanks.

what kit do you have, and is it wet or dry?

A sketchy ground can blow fuses, the grounds all should be cleaned and ground securely.

I have the 5175 kit with a MSD window switch. I fixed all the grounds and still blew the same fuse.

is it the size fuse they recommended or are you overloading a fuse with a bunch of accessories?
