Hey everyone i have connected my A/F gauge in my car and wanted to know what the car should be running at? Right now the gauge is showing Lean....do i want it to be Stoich or rich? If its not supposed to be lean what do i need to do in order to get it to that point or does it not really matter? Also is the gauge supposed to flucuate when you drive it?

I see you posted this in two different forums and I am confused. Are you asking while running nitrous, while in boost or N/A?

an a/f gauge is worthless with the narrowband o2's. Only time it is somewhat accurate is at WOT. Otherwise it is going to be constantly dancing because the pcm is constantly correcting the a/f while you cruise

It will show lean at idle and cruise. I noticed that when I had my car dynoed, I watched the computer and I was at 16:1 when the car was idling and said WTF!? Then the tuner told me its only accurate at WOT and thats with wideband.

The only thing that will make a difference is if you have wideband.
