i know that it is commonly known that when going over 75 shot u need a higher flowing pump. my question is has anyone done this with a stock pump. now before everyone chimes in with how it dangerous, i know this. im just wondering if it has been done or if its possible. i could understand how some people do it as just a "saftey, or just in case" kinda thing, cause i really dont see why it would be needed when only bumping up another 25 hp. i could be totally wrong though, anyone?

Re: fueling question

Re: fueling question
Safest way to run on a stock pump is SLOWLY increase your shot while monitoring fuel. IF you start running anywhere near lean on a "good" tune it's time to stop risking it.
I would start with like a 70 shot and increase in 10hp incriments. The STOCK 5175 Kit comes with an 85 shot, so I would guess that would definitely be safe with a perfect runnign car and good tune.
MAKE SURE YOUR FPSS Works correctly!
