MSD fuel pump, safe to run a wet 100 shot

[factoryfreak v6 firebird]

i just bought a inline fuel pump by msd, and am running 114 octane at the track which is where i want to run 100 shot only just wondering because i cant retard the timing until i get the msd dis 4 but i was told as long as i run the octane and have a better fuel pump like the msd i should be alright , i know it is risky blowning a head gasket by chance but do you guys think i could be alright?

You should be okay, just dont forget to turn the pump on. ;)

Definately get a tune or MSD Dis-4 for a 100 shot though, esp for a dry shot.

curious,

is there any ill affects from adding an inline pump to a stock fuel system?

does it make the stock intank work harder when the inline isnt on?

or when the inline is on does it put a strain on the stock intank system?
