Does anyone have any advice on water injection kits and what they do, how they work, and what kind of power you get from them?

Re: Water injection kits anyone.??
From what I know about them they are a coolant system similar to alcohol injection (meth injection). They are not a poweradder like nitrous.
I dont know of too many people who use these type of cooling systems unless they are running HUGE shots of spray, like 150 or bigger.
You might want to check out the Forced Induction section too cuz I know a lot of those guys who are running high boost levels use these systems.sigpic

I was highly confused as to how water injection increases horsepower
Yeah, I knew they allowed you to use more nitrous/boost with less risk of overheating, but thats pretty much all I know about them. There are just chemical coolant systems.sigpic

I stil run my coolingmist 150 psi methanol kit on my car with the dry nitrous kit. You can make more power if you have it tuned for the methanol injection and up your timing. But the main idea is to lower your intake temps. If your looking for one , look on ebay at the coolingmist kits. You can find a good kit with everything for around $300.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
