    From what i've read elsewhere, the venom just tells your ECU that your TPS is 25% higher than what it really is.. dumping more gas in at less actual throttle... it "feels faster" but when at WOT its really the same.

      I totally jacked the thread, my bad. uh more relevant- yea 3.4's have good stock internals but being an old motor it will have a weakness. my 3.4 has 150k miles on it, so i think 50 would be max

          i once popped a 350 in my monza with a 150 hp nitrous kit....blew the head gasket and i said to hell with it...i stayed in it...lol...melted a 1/4 wide groove between the cylinder walls and a matching one in the head. still ran 12.40s on the 6 good cylinders....lol...but it wasnt worth all the PITA i had to go through afterwards.
