I thought I would share my problem solving, in case someone else makes the same mistake, I was trying to find a problem for the last 3 months, my nitrous would cut in / out. First I thought it was a nitrous filter, then window switch, micro switch and finally my fuel solenoid. I have been running lean when hitting the nitrous. Then somtimes it would be fine. So I'm driving on Wed trying to figure out the problem and looking at my bottle pressure. I have it off and my pressure is still going up, so I feel the bottle and it is very hot. So I start looking at the wiring on the switches and found out when I unhooked my methanol injection I hooked the wiring up wrong. Anyways after trying it again without the heater on it worked fine then put the heater on it would cut out. When I wired it I wired it off the same 12v as the nitrous switch so the heater pulls to much power and cuts off the fuel solenoid. It is all fixed now and running fine 100 wet with no problems.(knock on wood).

that is really good to hear u figured it out. I remember you having a lot of problems with being lean in the past and you were trying bigger jets and everything.

Thanks, I'm back to a .031 fuel and .047 nitrous jet. I was going to hit the test & tune today at Speed World but I think I'm going to tune it a little more before I go. I also had to work a 12 hour shift and don't get off until 7am.

hey Im interested in how you ran your meth setup, IE where you mounted the resevoir, the pump and the nozzle....i will be installing mine in the coming weeks and trying to decide the best location for everything....thanks

Re: It's the little things that matter

I taped the stock windshield resevoir(holds almost a gallon) and mounted the pump directly below on the bumper support frame. I found this the best since they said if you mount the pump below your tank it works the best.(gravity feed). The nozzel just after the maf on the throttle body(passenger side). I suggest when mounting the pump, drill the holes where you want to mount it asnd use little bolts with nuts on them to hold the pump in place, the pumps have a little weight to them and being up front take alot of vibration( safety measure). Good luck

Re: It's the little things that matter

yea the pump is pretty heavy....the location you are talking about is where my I/C mounts....i will have to find a way to work around it, but i was definetly thinking i was gonna use the windshield wiper res. as well.

should go right below your intercooler the drivers side.

Glad to hear you got it runnin again Steve :)

I had a similar problem on the dyno, my bottle pressure was at about 1190 psi  and I had to manually let out some of the bottle to cool it down.
