What kind of differential do you have?
I ordered a Zexel Torsen off ebay and the idiot didnt throw in the paddle kit which IS SUPPOSED to come with the ZT. So it was just another $20 for a paddle kit.
    BUT!!!!!

THIS SHOULD BE STICKIED IN THE GEARS SECTION:

I think, (NO, I KNOW) you are saying that WITH 4.10s (or bigger) you will need the SPECIAL SLP paddle kit because the ring gear on the 4.10s will NOT allow the stock paddle kit to fit in!!! I Would know! The SLP is like $170++
I had to get a bench grinder and grind the **** out of the stock paddle kit in order to make it fit, but hey, I saved $170.

Yes, spraying at low rpms is dangerous... But doesnt Nitrous LIKE high rpms anyways??? So whats the point of spraying at so low rpms where you are not making much power anyways?????

Re: Maybe Time To Up Nitrous Shot?

i was thinking ... either zexel torsen, or eaton.. w/e one's cheaper and available here in the next couple of weeks. but i thought i would need the paddle kit.
help me get in those higher rpms faster .. every lil bit helps althought i am going to start using the nitrous at 3k and above. i figured i would ask him since me and him were talkin and could get answer pretty quickly. but thanks slow6.

Re: Maybe Time To Up Nitrous Shot?

IF you are on the stock tune and you are spraying during closed loop and NOT in PE... well, your engine is gonna blow up!!
Btw, I love it when someone says "you're gonna blow you're $hit up!!!" thats hilarious! and we can only hope!

Re: Maybe Time To Up Nitrous Shot?

Here is the stock PE Hot table:

                  50.00000 50.00000 54.00391 64.00391 71.50391 75.99609 78.49609 79.49219 80.00000 80.00000 80.00000 80.00000 80.00000 80.00000 80.00000 80.00000 80.00000

So you are not gonna go into PE Mode until you reach at least 50% TPS
So I guess just dont spray until after 50% TPS
                  (Throttle Position Sensor)
The stock PE table is rich, in order to be safe

Re: Maybe Time To Up Nitrous Shot?

Some people (with a bit more boost than you, like 10-12psi) are going into PE mode as low as from 20% - 35% (2800-3000rpms)
And their AFR is alot richer I think, like 11.3:1 - 11.7:1
                      And they have less timing!
I'm sure they use higher octane fuel as well
                      Just something to think about..

You will only need the paddle kit for a zexel LSD.

For the eaton you can put whatever gear you want in it.

If you want a new fuel pump I'm selling direct replacement walbro pumps that work like stock and flow 255lph (not the BS walbro pumps from ZZP or TSP that run your tank dry when you stll have 4 gallons left) for 129.99 right now (only have 3 left)
