Ok, the wires are dark blue, black, and a greyish-white color. Which one is the lucky wire?

By the way, here is a pic of everything, I finally got a chance to drag it all out and get a good look at it!

Yes I did get bottle brackets, they are just not in the pic, but I am going to get one of the bottle bracket/heaters all in one from 860 performance for this project as well as get it painted red or some shade metallic red. I will probly get it put on later in the spring, my car is in our shop right now for the winter, and once it warms up a little bit to the point where I am not trying to work on it with a heavy winter coat, a buddy of mine and I are going to take a crack at putting it on ourselves! I'll let you all know when we get started and how it goes!

Re: Thinking about jumping to the next step...

are the jet charts universal to all kits? The one that I bought is actually for an LS1 and the chart for jets that I have begins at a 75 shot, which is fine, but I would like to start lower at like a 25-35 shot to get the feel for it and let my engine get used to it before throwing a 75-100 shot at it. Can anyone give me the fuel jet and nitrous jet numbers for a couple of lower shots before I get to 75. Like a 25 and a 50?

Yes, LS1 jet size:horspower charts are the same as our cars. I emailed Holley for my jet sizes and this is what they sent back to me:

                  HP Nitrous/Fuel

                  40 34/18
                  50 37/22
                  60 39/24
                  70 41/26
                  80 43/28
                  100 46/30
                  125 52/33
                  150 61/38

Those numbers will give you a slightly rich AFR, but if you get a tune then that can be easily adjusted. Richer is better than leaner in most cases though. ;)

I would use a jet calculator and not suggested shots. The sizes I have seen between kits has varied in the past.

Here is one I have used

Im just the opposite, I'd trust the maker of my kit before I trust an online calculator. To each his own though :)

Yea but there have been past instances where people have called the same manufacturer and each got different numbers. ;)

Also some makers give shot sizes based on rwhp and others fwhp, so doing the calculator will tell you both and give more accurate results
