Is my car ready for nitrous

Okay first off I have a 98 v6 camaro and here is a list of all my mods

whisper lid
3 inch cutout
3 inch pipe in place from removing cat
flat z28 tips

is this enough for a 85 shot of nitrous or should I keep on modding my car but the hsw nitrous kit is calling my name.

Im gonna get every nitrous safety feature put on when I get it installed.

Probaly a dumb question but do anyone regret putting nitrous on your cars Ive heard kristens story but you have to pay to play.
THe reason I ask this is because I have put a lot of time and money into my car and don't wanna end up not having nothing

ya you are fine for nitrous. Nitrous can be put on a stock car if someone wanted too, just wouldn't be totally efficient, but can be done.

please rethink your last question and then go hit yourself in the head for us all.

thanks now I feel like buying the hsw kit now I been looking at the dry kit on ebay so I guess I will be getting it but what shot would you recommend starting off with I don't have an walbro fuel pump its still stock I was thinking a 85 shot

check out dynotunenitrous.com for kits as well. they have some really good kits for a great price.

start out with a 50 shot, see how the car likes it. then make your way up to a 75 or 85 shot

Dont forget NGK TR6 spark plugs ;) Other than that, you are ready to go.

I dont regret nitrous at all. I had a backfire just like Kristen, but it was not all that bad. I fixed it and I am still spraying :D

BTW, are you looking at a wet kit or dry kit?

no whisper lids on our 97 cars. ;) And the backfires are from the wet kits and fuel puddling

Yeah, I blew up my CAI back in October, but it was my fault cuz I armed the nitrous between shifts and the fuel puddled.

I lost count after the 15th bottle. after accounting for waste in lines and refills where the bottle had 1lb of air, i'd say I sprayed over 100lb of nitrous through my 2001 camaro's v6. I ran 75 dry shot most of that time without problems (kr here and there, but retarding the timing a few degrees resolved that).

I have no regrets. i'll warn you that it truly is addictive. you may not be able to go back once you cross into n2oland.

bob dole what shot are you running now. I can't wait to get hooked on nitrous like everyone else says. I will be buying my harris speed kit off ebay next thursday who knows when Ill get it hooked up. The safety features are a must so im gonna buy all the assesories before even spraying.

I have a 98 v6 camaro and my dad has a 98 v8 caddillac with the four doors Im not sure if its the seville or deville but he just rubs it in my face how fast his car is and he wants to challenge me but what kind of a parent would he be plus my mom would let him hear it.

After I get this nitrous hooked up we will see who car is really fast. I hate when people have v8 they think that they have a fast car when in reality they don't

i parked my 2001 v6 camaro up against a tree at 40mph in the rain last month... it didn't drive after that.... so now i've got that dry kit in my 1999 SS with a .047 jet. i haven't had the time to put in my tr6 spark plugs and i'm waiting on a rpm+tps switch, so i haven't used it yet...

make sure you use high octane fuel (because stock timing advance = KR on a 75 shot) and spank the sh1t out of your dad for us.

so his car is faster from my car its big *** hell I don't see how a 98 caddilac could be so fast and that big maybe a eldorado cadillac but his car is just luxury to me thats it.

Im gonna get my nitrous installed and not even tell him he had a 91 cadillac which he thought was faster than my car also he thinks every car that has a v8 is faster than my car or any other v6 wait till he gets a taste of this 3.8 98 camaro

I would but don't those 98 cadillacs got like 275 horsepower Im not talking about the eldorado Im talking about the big four door cadillac but he swears its fast
