done some research but no luck I just orderd a NX wet kit and want to do a 100 wet shot at a min. can i do this on stock fuel system? what if i wanna go to a 125 wet shot?
I have all the supporting mods except headers car is a well maintained 2002 3.8 camaro with a m5
yes I did read that it says up to 125 shot on stock fuel system, but how many people are actually spraying more than 100 shot on stock fuel system with stock internals? also what is an acceptable amount of Kr?
there is no acceptable amount of KR, you don't want ANY. KR kills these engines. fuel pump is HIGHLY recommended like you would have read for anything 100 and over
The only reason I put in a 255lph fuel pump was becuase I originally had a dry kit. If I hadnt switched to a wet kit, I'd still have a 100% stock fuel system and would spray 125 shot.
If you want to take your chances on 100-125 hit, at least get the thing on a dyno or use a wideband a/f to monitor your air/fuel ratio. Start out at 50 or 75, you'll be able to tell if you will have adequate fuel and bump it slowly. Engines leaning out is a great way for nitrous to blow your engine and continue it's bad reputation.

so a 100-125 (wet) is cool on stock fuel system as long as the correct tuning is there? by the way i have autotap i can watch my af and KR while driving....
what is a good reliable in line fuel pump that i can run all the time? what about the tuning issue? is it needed for the 100 shot? see ima lil worried cause I have the intense racing stage one tune that adds 4* of total timing but however i must remove 2* for every 50 hp shot of nitrous so what to do?
I dont know of any inline pumps that are good to run all the time, you turn them with a toggle when you spray. That doesnt mean they dont exist, I just dont know of any. I have heard many good things about the MSD inline pump though.
I would definately get a tune for a 100 shot, some people do, some people dont, but I would. To retard the timing you need HP Tuners and ditch the Intense tune.
the intense tune not worth a poo? what shot could i run just the way i am you know just till i get the cash for hp tuners? how many people go over 100 on stock pistons and such?

The intense tune gives you more slightly more power but the timing is too advanced for a nitrous setup. With nitrous you want to pull a few degrees so that you have less of a chance of detonation for your engine. With a 125 shot you are probably looking at pulling 1-2 degrees of timing, but since you are already 4 degrees advanced from stock you're looking at pulling 5-6 degrees.

Bingo. Advanced timing = bad for nitrous motors.
Many people have done a 100 wet shot on stock internals. I will be doing a 125 next week when I go to the track. 12secondv6 did a 125 dry shot on a stock bottom end for a long time (he had fueling mods though).
OK so the intense tune is garbage! I just needed it for the 3.73 rear gear but anyways how extensive am I gonna have to go to shoot a 125 on this thing reliably? give me some sort of a check list if you may? things I do to get to that level? and what about now what could I shoot now on the intense tune you know just to get by till I get hp tuners?
