ok i know alot of you know that i had 2, count them 2, nitrous back fires this year.

now i was coming home from a 600 mile trip with the camaro and as i was almost home the car started to shutter really bad. i'm almost certain that it's my fuel pressure reg.

what is the odds that, that was my problem all along? what else do i have to check before i spray again.

also since i'm a 01 with a electoric tb how would i tap it? ne one got any pics?

How many miles on the car? What was your fuel pressure? (you have a guage right?) Did you ever check to make sure the nitrous solenoid is working correctly?

I would swap out the FPR just out of maintenance anyhow. They are $50 and not hard to swap yourself.

I dont have an elec TB, but I'll try to find some pics of people who do and tapped into them.

62? Damn, thats high. Im only at 50 psi at WOT.

You can check the N2O 'noid by disconnecting the fuel 'noid ground, turning off the bottle and manually flipping the WOT switch, if it clicks open and shut its working.

If you have a window switch, then still disconnect the fuel 'noid ground wire, turn your bottle on, start the car, remove the nozzle, point it away from people/animals/etc, rev the car to the rpm at which the nitrous hits, manually hit the WOT switch and see if it sprays.

This is a dual stage setup, but the silver nozzle on the left side of the TB is your best position, especially for your setup since your 'noids are on the passenger side of the engine bay anyhow.
