      Re: tap

hmm, do you have your instructions yet? Should be in the instructions what size the tap is. Otherwise maybe check their website for pdf file of instructions.

I cannot remember the size, I just took my bits and found the one that fit the coupling and called it good, lol.

Do you have the two piece coupling to hold it in place in the tb?

          Re: tap

i read that yesterday. and then i was looking at another website that sells n/x parts. and they sell a 1/8 tap for the shark nozzle. this is something so easy but it's driving me nuts.

when you tap the tb you have to use the nut gromt right?

No. You just drill it, tap it and screw the nozzle in.

              Re: tap

oh, i tapped mine 9/16ths because i used those two nuts that screw onto the shark nozzle. but 9/16ths is pretty big, the only reason i had one is because my dad is an electrician and he had one. this is my tap:

                Re: tap

yea I used the two nut grommet for mine, I wanted to make sure it stayed in correctly and didn't move or anything. I would use the grommet if you have it. You can tap it, but it isn't that thick of a wall

yea it took about 2 seconds to tap. and i had a vacuum pointed down in the t.b. to suck up any shavings
