I wanted to double check with you guys about something. I have a progressive controller that says to use a 2nd nitrous solenoid as a safety feature due to the wear on the primary solenoid. Could I use this safety solenoid as a purge solenoid too? It seems to me that it would work out fine.

Re: safety/purge solenoid
I guess it'd be possible IF there are 2 outlets on the 'noid, most 'noids only have a single outlet though. I suggest just getting a gauge adapter, another 'noid and puttin it inline with the other 2 'noids.

Re: safety/purge solenoid
I don't even believe this would work:
When you went to purge it would spray nitrous into your intake if you were using it as a fail over, and further I don't even know if you can find one that is a dual outlet.
When it comes to Nitrous installs a very good word that should ALWAYS be followed:
DO NOT CUT CORNERS
if you cut corners you'll pay for it down the road, when installing, testing, and using nitrous always do it right the first time or you'll regret it!

Im just playing the devil's advocate. :D
But as said before, a separate purge 'noid is the best way to do it
