Well, I'm heading to bed for tonight. :) If you can add that on there, it's ok with me, if not just add it to your site and I will order it tomorrow night. :)
You should also look into a wideband setup and scanning software(hptuners) it will save you money in the end. I would have blown up my engine on several occassions without these 2 componets.

How hard is it to program with hptuners. Because right now I have a mail in tune from westerns(think that is the name) and it's a 93 advance tune. So I would need to tune it down to 87 octane and fix the air fuel maps. How hard is this to do?? Do they have pre-made tunes you can select or do you have to manually tune everything?
You would have to manually tune everything, but theres enough support on here that could guide you through it, once you take a look at the program, it's pretty self explanatory and easy to use. Most of the guys here can help you out with it. You can send them your file before you put it in your car and they can let you know if you made a mistake somewhere. Also a widenband O2 is a good investment, you can see if your running lean or rich. Too lean and too much KR and there goes your motor.

I was looking over the hptuner software at work, seemed pretty sweet. One quick question... I should be able to program my current computer with it, even though it was programmed from another place(mail order custom tune)? Main thing, I need to get the 93 advance tune down to stock 87 octane... can't run nitrous at all until i get that fixed... :(
yes with hptuners you will be able to retune your stock PCM that was mail order tuned. Did pcm4less do it or texas-speed.com?
Hptuners is a sweet program that has the capabilities of doing a multitude of cars. Once you learn the ropes it is not that bad to use at all. Are you pretty computer savvy? I checked your website and you seem to know what you are doing with computers and Halo :) My favorite game ;)
Actually my tune came from Westers Garage, up in Canada... they are listed on http://www.tbyrnemotorsports.com/ website... I was part of a set of people that got the tune when it first started couple years or so ago. They where great to work with then, but now I really don't care much for them. Nor do I trust them with this tune on running Nitrous... Oo
Yeah, I've been using, working on computers since I was 9.. :P I'm a nerd... I could navigate through the program no problem(more than likely), just didn't know about all the settings and such in the program, just didn't what to do something bad to kill my computer on my Camaro... Oo
What does the MPVI Pro interface allow me to do over the Standard Version?
With our Pro interface, you can integrate 0-5v signals from various sensors such as EGT, Wide Band, fuel pressure and others right into our scanner. You will have real time data from those sensors right next to your standard scan tool data such as TPS, RPM, MPH, etc.
Our MPVI Pro interface also has black box data datalogging of up to 1hr 30mins built in. What this means is you are able to scan your vehicle without the use of a laptop using the interfaces record button. You can then take the interface into your home to transfer the log contents from the interface to the computer. If you have an MPVI Pro it will require no hardware modification. Also note that VCM Scanner comes with both interfaces regardless as it is part of our VCM Suite package.
Basically, it allows you to record more data and get more accurate data since it takes it all directly from the sensors. Plus, it has a "record as you go" option so you can go out for a ride, then come home, plug it into your computer and see if everything behaved and such. The standard edition should be all you need. I believe you can upgrade to allow usage of a WB if you ever get one.
the upgraded version comes with the box that allows you to hook the wideband up to it for easy tuning. If you plan on the wideband and have the money get the upgraded one. It also is suppose to black box log for you so your laptop doesn't have to be in the car.
Otherwise with the standard version, in order to see wideband data in HPtuners you have to run the line through your EGR wiring and then set up some custom PIDs on there to display it. A bit more legwork but will work as well. I personally have the standard. I have a wideband sitting in my room waiting to be installed, lol.
let me get your insight 97rs I got my harris speed nitrous kit in my spare tire area I was thinking of maybe putting it on the hump because I don't wanna buy a bottle opener. Would you just buy the bottle opener and leave it where it is in the spare tire area or move it and not have to worry about a bottle opener or buying a digital pressure gauge
it really is a personal preference and depends on the local laws. Some states are a bit picky having a tank right by the passengers like that. So I would find out your local laws first. But yea either way will get the job done.
I personally run the bottle on the hump and I just reach back when I want to open it. I will be making a two bottle setup soon here where I will be ripping out my back seats and making a rear seat delete that will hold both bottles. I just like to have my spare tire in my car as well with it on the hump. Otherwise I would have to call a tow truck no matter what
