It's a multi-channel ignition system specifically designed for
distributorless ignitions. You get better throttle response, a single stage timing retard, a two step rev-limiter, and a hotter spark. You need to install coil interfaces for the coil packs and the igniter. Basically this will help my car run less rich at idle with the blower. I just thought maybe some of the nitrous people were running it too. But I guess not..

Not since HP Tuners came out for our cars. Most people used it to control timin but cost benefit isnt worth it now.

Plus the DIS4 was pretty unreliable. I remember hearing lots of people complaining about them.

Well, no HP for me. Unless I swap out the PCM for a 97'. So looks like I'll be going this route and continue to try and tune it myself using autotap.

shirl it would be a benefit to you if you decided to pick up hptuners. Opens a lot more up for tuning and you could possibly squeeze out some even faster times. :)
