Solenoid Check??

Not sure if someone knows the answer. But, How do you test out the nitrous and fuel solenoids if they haven't been used in a few years??? (I don't want any surprises of either being stuck shut when I juice again.) Thanks.

Manually hit the WOT switch. I assume you know what that is.

Is it coincidence that the competition level in the v6 world is rising and you start asking questions about modding again? ;) Just something I've noticed....no offense intended.

haha ! No, actually I need to cream a C5. :D I don't have a WOT switch. I use a manual button. So..... ?

When the ignition is in the "on" position, correct? What happens? They just click open and closed? (sorry for all the questions. don't wanna f' up).

What does your ignition have to do with it, why would it have to be on?

Just arm the system, hit the button with the nozzles pointed away and see if they spray.

EDIT: Do you have your system piggybacked onto the ignition fuse in fuse panel?

Ok, I gotcha. So basically disconnect the nozzle and spray away.

disconnect the nozzle and watch if it sprays, bottle closed should have just gas coming out of the nozzle.

Then listen for them to click as you hit the button, or have someone push the button and you under the hood listening

you have a wet kit right? just remove the lines from where it goes into your nitrous. have someone holding the lines, pointing away from everyone, and then have someone in the car to hit your nitrous. the bottle should be on to make sure that yu have stuff coming out of you lines. than is how i just tested mine.

yea it can be closed adn the line can be disconnected from the bottle as well. All you have to do is here the solenoid clicking to know if it works or not. Leave the car ignition off so you can hear it

WAIT i was just thinking this.... YOU SPRAY BY PRESSING A BUTTON LIKE THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS? dag shirl you have balls!!! lol
