      Yeah, I really hope where I have it, will spray the nitrous right over the IAT sensor. I say it should. Also, I have been scanning and working on my LTFT with HP Tuners. I printed that link you sent me on paper, but I think they are wrong on the LTFT part, where they say if you have a -4 in your histogram, and then you go to your LTFT and if you have 67 you take 67-4 and get 63. Well I did that, because I was running lean, so I didn't have any neg. numbers but all +. So... I added to the LTFT and this past weekend I updated my new tune, and I was running 20 in all the areas on my histogram, went up instead of going down. So, I went on hptuner website and did who knows how many searches, and found that some people say if you have a -4 then take -4 off, but then some say the opposite... and I really think it is the opposite. I guess i will go the other direction and see what happens.. Didn't know if you have messed with your LTFT or not??

      Also, anyone have any info on the jet sizes? or what my bypass jet size is? need to buy me some smaller jets.

      Also, still confused on how to hook the RPM switch up with the nitrous, I get the part about hooking the wire up to the crank sensor, I'm guessing that is the wire that they said hook up to the ECU, but, how does it hook up to the nitrous system to shut off and let the nitrous run? is it the ground to the first solenoid, i've searched and searched on here and even google and found nothing yet... :(

      Thanks again everyone,
      Jeff

        Re: Nitrous installed. :) Pics :D

        I have the MSD digital window switch and it works by supplying the ground to the solenoid. If i remeber correctly you take the wire that your nitrous system's directions have you hooking up to a ground source and instead hook it up to your window switch. That way the switch will provide a ground when you're in the RPM window you set it to.

        On NOS 05175, connect a wire from each solenoid together along with the blue wire from relay. Other wire on first solenoid goes to window switch, other wire on second noid goes to FPSS.

          Cool, thanks for the info. So I was right? Take the ground wire from the first solenoid and run it to the window switch, like I did on the 2nd solenoid that I ran to the FPS. So, do you remember which color wire from the window switch you hook up with the 1st solenoids ground wire?

          I may be able to figure it out, if not dad probably will, I really just need to look at the wires now and the RPM switch paper that tells what each wire is.

          Thanks for the info and clearing that up :D

            Re: Nitrous installed. :) Pics :D

            I just did some more searching on the jet sizes... And found that the 047 is a 85 shot? 52 is a 100 shot?? I'm still wondering what my bypass jet size is, since I'm guessing that makes some difference...

            what I have found out so far...

            30---->50
            36---->75
            47---->85
            52---->100

            But then I foud a post saying this....

            30 jet - 50 shot NOS-13760-30NOS
            36 jet - 75 shot NOS-13760-36NOS
            42 jet - 85 shot NOS-13760-42NOS
            52 jet - 100 shot NOS-13760-52NOS

            and it also said my bypass was a 42 jet?

            so from the different post I found that everything looks right exect that one says 42 for 85 shot and one says 47 for 85 shot??

            So, can someone clear this up :)

            Thanks,
            Jeff

                read here (under Super Powershot)..

                http://www.angelfire.com/fl4/pontiac...alculator.html

                the .047 jet is your 100 shot

                when i bought my kit many years ago it used to be that the .042 jet was the 85 and the .052 was the 100..but im guessing things have changed since then..maybe with more tuning, tests, etc.

                  Still a little lost... So are any of the other ones correct on the tables I listed? If the 047 is my 100shot, then I would like to have around a 75 shot and a 50 shot. Anyone know the true jet sizes on them?

                  xcdarrel17-----> Thanks for the info, going out to install it here in a few minutes. :) Hopefully it will be a quick install :) You have no idea how much I have searched on info about how to hook up the MSD RPM Switch to the 3.8. Thanks again for the help. :)

                      Yeap, everything seems to be working. Now all I need to find is the jet sizes for a 50 and 75 shot, and get the tank filled, and all should be ready. :) I took some more pics of the engine bay where me and dad hooked up the MSD RPM switch and nitrous sensor. I'll try and post them later tonight or tomorrow on my website, I'll post the link again :D

                        Hey man. Just wanted to let you know that I also hooked a MSD RPM Activated Window switch up in my 97 3.8. I just tapped into the 52 pin on the PCM. I'm running my 'noids off a relay, so I wired it to the relay's ground, and it works just fine.

                          Hey thanks for the info. Got everything setup Saturday, me and dad hooked it up to the cam sensor wire at the top of the engine bay near the fuel rails, we just followed the wire and hooked into on top of the engine instead of in front of the engine. :)

                          Also, I have added final pics of the install and have noted each pic. :D I will be adding maybe one or two more pics next weekend on the T hook up for the Fuel Pressure sensor and the Fuel Pressure switch(FPS). Here is the link again,

                              Hey, thanks.. :D Yeah, probably will be addicted to Nitrous :P I was going to do some programming but, then I read vipers post where the LTFT does nothing on our cars until the MAF fails... so, i was reading how to adjust spark timing and remove KR, so I'm going to install the smaller gapped plugs this weekend, and do some WOT runs on them and remove the KR and adjust some timing if I understand it correct, then after i get that to the point that I have no KR then I will run a nitrous shot, well... first i have to get the bottle filled and some smaller jets...

                              You wouldn't happen to know the jet sizes right off for a 50 shot and a 75 shot?

                              Thanks,

                                Theres a nitrous jet calculator you can download for free, I think 97rs4life gave me the link along time ago. I'll see if I can find it. Nitrous is addicting, I'm running a .055 jet right now, will start tunning for .063 then a .071 here shortly when the weather cools down more. Mine is a wet shot though.Heres the link:http://www.robietherobot.com/NitrousJetCalculator.htm
