nothing else? no other safty devices? how hard is the wiring going to be? and what do you suggest for hiding it in the engine bay
hide the solenoids under the lid by the radiator, then tap into the underside of the smooth bellow. Put electrical wire loom around nitrous line and nozzle, nobody would be able to tell.
The NOS kit comes with a WOT switch so it can tell when you are at WOT and then activate the kit. This style you would mount behind your gas peddle. The TPS sensor is an electronic version that you tap some lines in for it to tell when you are WOT instead of mounting the switch behind the gas.
Even for a auto I would get a window switch as a safety measure. That way you can arm it and not have to worry about blowing it up before you hit your 3000 rpms and not hitting your rev. limiter. For example, I arm mine and when I hit full throttle it won't activate until 3200 rpms and it shuts down at 5900 rpms where my shift point is set at and my top rev. limiter is at 6000 rpms. So I don't need to worry about shutting the switch on/off before or after my rpms. So I would say it is a good saftey mod for either a M5 or A4.

i dunno what guages should i get? just the ones that are required please? and prices? i know electric guages are a killer :/ and is what sms says true?
The MSD digital window switch is well worth the $100 or so for it. Or there are different window switches. For gauges I would get a electric fuel pressure gauge(about $200), a wideband setup $320 to $400 depending on what wideband and gauge). Also a electric nitrous gauge, depending on if your going to mount it in the spare tire area or hatch($200 or less). Also the bottle opener depending on brand will run any where from $180 to $250. Also Hptuners is a good mod to tune the vehicle for timing and KR and other tuning features.

wideband is pointless unless you spend the money on the tuning as well. If you are going with a 75 shot then no need for tuning.
elect. fuel pressure
elect trans temp
elect nitrous press. gauge since it is in the back
I always like to be safe, so thats why I suggested the wideband and the hptuners. Most people running nitrous will most likely up their shots due to the power hungry nature of just switching out jets. I know after awhile I get use to a shot size then I want to increase it more. But if he really sticks with the 75 shot then I can see him having no problems. I would suggest having some type of scanning tool to make sure he doesn't get any KR though with 75 shot, and he is getting enough fuel.
