I've got a question for you. Is it worth dropping the rear end and the exhaust/gas tank or should I cut the hole over the tank and fabricate a door for ease of access?

Also, for a 100 shot do you guys use the 26/46 jet combo?

for the fuel pump do the access door its so much easier then dropping the rear just becareful with the sparks lol use some shear snips. Trust me i did my pump the right way and now something went ape sh*t and my mechanic is charging me labor again. when i get it back im doing the access panel just in case anything else goes wrong

Dont drop the rearend/tank. Trap door is MUCH easier. I'll see if I can find the write-up on how to do it.

Im going to go fast and the furious style and install CCFLS and a plexi window. I'm also going to install a fish tank iver the top of the fuel pump.

yea access panel. jetting will depend on your car and the desired a/f ratio you are after. some people lean out the shot with the fuel jet and others like to richen it

is it worth retuning my car with a new pump? Will anything change with how my injectors work?

no, no tuning needed for a pump. A pump has no affect on your injectors or tune, it just supplies the fuel when you need it and can keep up with higher flow demands

Your fuel regulator will supply the fuel needed. Then if it doesn't use it all we have a return fuel line that goes back into the gas tank.

Re: People with aftermarket fuel pumps.

i dropped the tank when i did mine cause i had to do the canister too.

but there was alot more invoild in dropping mine cause i had to drop the exhaust from the headers back(one piece) ne ways

i just don't like the idea of cutting a hole in my car where the gas tank is. only less than a day's work to just drop the tank

Well, I couldnt be cutting a door as much as i'd be fabricating an access pannel.

Kristen youre a mommy now? congrats.
