    Re: Nitrous links??

good starter kit would be the NOS 05175

    http://www.gvperformance.com/store/i...d&productId=34

That would be a dry kit which is going to be safer and the way to go for just starting out

dry is safer than wet? I thought it was the other way around.

Dry won't blow your intake manifold through your hood. Ask me how I know. Wet is "safer" because it's less prone to detonation. In my experience, dry is the way to go. Our intakes do not flow fuel well at all. I've yet to see anyone run much better wet vs. dry. Mattyacks, go with the cheapest dry kit you can find. You want to be really safe? Pill it to 100hp, throw a set of NGK TR-6 plugs in it, and only race it on a minimum of 93 octane (I prefer 100 octane).

dry is better with our cars and letting the maf do the tuning for it. Just have to clock the nozzle until you get the desired a/f ratio for the perfect setup. start out small though with a 50 shot

50 shot? Really? You can't even feel that hit. Fuel pump is optional. I ran the stock pump alot without a hiccup.

Yeah, upgrade to the 100 jet, put a drag radial on, go to a track, then thank me. :)

yes really, you want to dial in the nozzle tuning first and make sure everything is working properly before upping the shot. Then once you know everything is working good and there is no KR you can up the shot. 75 shot just needs the plugs. 100 shot you would want fuel pump.

exhaust and CAI help get the most out of your nitrous kit but yes plugs are the bare minimum that you would need on a stock car

Tuning a nozzle? Are you kidding? Come on man. 8 inches away from the MAF, pointing at it. There you go, the secret to nozzle tuning on a dry kit. Quit regurgitating all the same old crap. You don't need a fuel pump for a 100 hit. Period. The stock fuel system will support 275rwhp all day long. Good gas and good plugs are all you need on a stock/mild car.
