i actually had a guinea pig named norbert... no seriously i did. he was totatlly awesome, he would eat anything, spaghetti, cheese, coffee cake, so much lettuce that his mouth would be staind green for days..... some guinea pigs will only eat those disgusting pellets... Norbert was special.
anyhow.... it's gonna take some convincing about that purge kit, cuz i don't want to spend the $ on something that imo doesn't seem to do much, i mean if there is a second or so delay from an air pocket than i think i can wait that long... or is there more to it?
with a dry kit you will be fine without a purge. With wet kits it is good idea to have a purge so that you are not dumping fuel in without the nitrous mixing in with it at first. Usually means a slight bog when you run a wet kit without purge.
A dry kit is not going to benefit as much from a purge. Although if you are looking for consistent times and every little bit of hp they do help get the nitrous to the solenoid and ready to get put into the engine.
A purge can be added later on down the road. Just focus on getting the kit installed and running properly first
One success out of all the failures. His car is an exception not the norm.
HP Tuners software > DIS-4 ;)

^^I know and I feel bad for you 3.4 guys. I would rather use 110 or 116 octane race gas to control timing for a bigger shot rather than the DIS-4 if I were you. On a 50 shot you should be okay, but for a 75 or 100 I'd mix in some race gas.

You HAVE to run 93 with any amount of nitrous, but if you do a bigger shot then I'd suggest using some race gas since you dont have the ability to retard your timing via HP Tuners.
anyhow, my msd rpm switch came in the mail today, talk about fast shipping, i think i ordered it on tuesday.
also, my bottle heater came from summit, however i have a big issue with it!!
the package was already opened and i don't know if all the parts are there. All there is, is a heater blanket with velcro and 2 wires sticking out of it.... is that everything that should have been in there? i mean i know it connects with velcro to the bottle, but what do those 2 wires hook up to? i mean thats all that was in the box. plus there was no receipt in the box, which is odd. am i missing a part?
btw, i totally overdrew from my bank account omg rofl.
