  • Jumpin on the band wagon again :)

Well, I'm currently payin off a nitrous kit :). I just need a few switches, and I'll be set (WOT, window, and FPSS). It's a wet kit. I don't have all the specs on it, since I'm keeping it at my g/f's house till I install it (hidin it from the parents till installed), but it has 175hp jets with it, and can support up to 250 shot. It's a wet kit with bottle and purge.

    Few questions:
1- MSD digital window switch: anyone running this?
2- shot: i plan on starting with a 50, working my way up to 75, possibly 100. Sound good?
3- plugs: car's a m5 bolt-on Camaro with GT2 cam, I take it TR6's will be fine for spray, or should I go with a different range cuz of the mods?
4- FPSS: what pressure should it be set at? I have a friend with an adjustable one for sale, hoping it goes high enough; IIRC, 50 was right.

    1. Many guys run that switch with great success. I have sold quite a few of them as well.
    2. Up to 100 is fine with your car
    3. TR6s are the way to go
    4. Depends on how much your fuel pressure dips when you initially hit the nitrous. Idle psi is 42. maybe 35 psi would be best to set it at.

well, it is a wet kit, so is a FPSS really going to help?

any safety item is going to help. I ran without one though for two years and on my new setup I will not be having one on it either. I have a wideband to monitor things now.

I have the MSD window switch , I like it alot, I don't run a FPSS, got a walbro 255 pump and a fuel pressue gauge inside the car. I do have a WOT switch and the window switch though.

Well, I've been thinking, and after remembering what out intake manifolds look like, I'm thinking of just spraying dry with this kit. I just got my LS1 injectors today (26.5lbs/hr), and am getting her all tuned within a month, hopefully :). Questions: how much do you think I could spray with these injectors? I'm hoping they're the right one, they seem taller, but I haven't looked at my injectors in a few months either.
