I remember reading up on doing a N/A tune and a nitrous tune, by moving the IAT sensor. First off, does anyone have the tut on this way of tuning? I thought Dan posted about it, but I can't find it. Secondly, can you put the nozzle too far away from the MAF? My IAT sensor is pretty far away already, and I want to move it and put the nozzle after the sensor, but not too sure if there will be enough room with my intake set-up (Moroso LT1 intake with 90* rubber elbow). I imagine I'd want to put the nozzle after the elbow so it gets a nice shot at the MAF, but the elbow is only 3-4" long before it turns, and squeezing the IAT and nozzle in there might be difficult since the whole thing is rounded and curving. Third, plugs. I know I should be running TR6's, but my current plugs (TR55s, IIRC) have a whopping 4200 miles on them, so they're not exactly ready for the trash yet. Would I be fine spraying with them?

Re: couple of questions
the 2 tune setup is for dry kits, so first off do you have a dry kit or a wet kit?

Re: couple of questions
do you still have the moroso air intake? Where on that is your IAT sensor? Is it in the elbow? If so you would want your nozzle 4-5 inches away from the IAT sensor and aiming at it. Then get into hptuners and change your IAT timing table to retard timing instead of advancing timing when it sees colder air. So when the nitrous goes over it and drops the temp way down it retards the timing that you specify. This way you tune for maximum NA and then when the nitrous hits the IAT sensor picks it up and retards timing

Re: couple of questions
still have the moroso intake. it had an outlet for the AIR tube, and that's where I put my IAT. I'm going to move them forward, but do I want it in the elbow, or closer to the filter? I'm going to check it all out this week and see for sure, just though I'd get some input.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

Re: couple of questions
moving it closer to the tb is going to help as then you can move your nozzle closer as well.

Re: couple of questions
because of our intake designs. Last thing I need it to blow the intake off because fuel puddled. I plan on spraying 75-100 shot with tuning, so dry should be fine.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

As for converting to dry with 75-100 shot, that is not really needed. It is when you go higher than 100 shot that puddling becomes an issue.

And I agree with you as far as the puddling issue is concerned.Y87 Package

Re: couple of questions
No idea, but I am putting some 28lb LS1 injectors in it this weekend, along with tuning it. I realize wet is safe for this size shot, but dry would just ease my worries. I am full bolt-on and GT2 cam; going to do nitrous, and then hopefully a set of heads when I can afford them.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
