Yes. Mine is hooked to toggle because its too bright at night.

Hook up the 12v power source like normal then put the toggle on the ground wire.

    Like so:

    ---------- switch
    gauge______/ _______ ground

One of those has to be a ground wire (my money says its the black one).

yeay it is and the red wire is supposed to run to the battery and the whitr wire is supposed to run to a constant 12volt source and the orange wire is optional that you can hook to your headlamps. I can hook up the gauge but I wanna run it through my toggle switch.

You know what I think I know how to hook it up I might have to buy a fuse kit and then run it to the switch I am confident now thanks shodown for the help

its gonna be something like you drew up but with a fuse in the middle

          switch
          gauge___fuse___/ _______ ground

There's no reason to put an in-line fuse on a ground, dude.

There isnt any power going thru it.

no the red power wire that goes to the battery needs the fuse I think.

Are you telling me is that all I need to do is run the black wire to my toggle switch and hook everything up like normal
