looks hot, but yeah, i'm a fan of the grille mount. i remember seeing a vid a while back of a guy in a black t/a ws6 with the big nostril ram air hood and the mounts were in the nostrils. so of course he would ride up to ricers and "steam them" with his purge lol.

I like the color of the car. cool pic. I know nothing about nitrous. Doesn't it damage your engine if its not BUILT? Even still, I have heard horror stories. Could I run a dry shot in my SS? what kind of HP could it give me? sorry if im threadjacking, but its intruiging. :)

Say it with me....nitrous, nitrous, nitrous. Its not nitro. Nitro is a reference to nitromethane fuel (top fuel dragsters/funny cars). :P

It can be filled at almost any high performance shop for anywhere between $3-$4 per pound.

too high of a shot will destroy even a built engine, so moderation is key. i've seen it run perfectly fine on stock internals in smaller shots, and your ls1 will handle it even better. look into some 75-100 shot nozzles to start.

i believe i even saw the guys on the powerblock last week taking a bone stock mustang gt and throwing up to a 125 shot on it safely, it dyno'd about 100 on the wheels over stock.

now of course a built, tuned, and cammed engine will love the nitrous more.

LOL thanks, its a lazy typing thing, not I call it NOS or nitro thing. But I think Ill take nitro now

I use to purge mine right in front of the radiator, thought might as well cool the car alittle before I go. 10 LB bottle lasts depending on shot size and if a wet or dry shot. 100 shot maybe 4-5 runs then your bottle will get down to like 3-4Lbs and will take forever to heat up to the right bottle temp.
