So, my ses light would blink at high rpms but wouldn't stutter like a burned through plug wire or anything. Now it does it through the whole rpm range at random times and random speeds, yet it runs fine. Has anybody had the misfire problem with no symptoms? I was thinking mabey it would be my crankshaft position sensor, but I'm not sure what the symptoms of it going out are. I was also thinking mabey it would be my balancer. Would a bad coil pack or icm act like a burnt through wire and stutter when it was its time to fire?

Re: still misfiring
Just called the local chevy dealerships, and they all want $92 to do it. I think I'm gonna have to wait on this for a while.1997 Chevrolet Camaro

Re: still misfiring
I stopped by autozone just now, and they said I have a cylinder 1 misfire, along with my egr and he said a code was pending. But I don't understand why the car isn't stuttering while driving.1997 Chevrolet Camaro

Re: still misfiring
So I feel like a complete idiot, I checked all my plug wires the other day, and they looked fine. Well they guys at the dealership hooked up the tech 2 scan tool, and my car was misfiring on 1 and 4. They said the reason I didn't feel it misfiring was because they were cancling each other out. Then they did a case learn, and it started misfiring #3. They said my plug wires were too small to take the heat from being my my headers. So I pretty much paid $92 to have someone tell me to change my wires.1997 Chevrolet Camaro
